Accessibility
Last updated: 21 April 2026
Pepture is built so that anyone running a peptide protocol can log doses, plan cycles, and read their own history, regardless of vision, motor, or cognitive differences. This page summarises the accessibility features supported by the Pepture app and by this website, and explains how to reach us if something is not working for you.
Supported accessibility features
Pepture supports the following platform accessibility features across iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, and Android. These declarations are published alongside the app on the App Store and Google Play.
VoiceOver & TalkBack
Every interactive control has an accessible label. Dose logging, reconstitution math, cycle calendar, and stack views all read out in a logical order.
Dynamic Type / Larger Text
Pepture scales up to the largest system text size without truncating dose values, units, or timestamps.
Sufficient Contrast
All text meets AA contrast ratios on the default theme. Critical states (dose due, cycle end) use icon + text, never colour alone.
Differentiate Without Color Alone
Cycle states, site-rotation heatmap, and stack warnings pair every colour with a text label or shape marker.
Dark Interface
Full dark mode on iOS and Android. Charts, calendars, and heatmaps are re-tuned for dark backgrounds, not just inverted.
Voice Control
Voice Control navigates all primary flows on iPhone and iPad: log a dose, open a stack, start a new cycle.
Large Touch Targets
Primary actions (log dose, pick site, confirm) meet the minimum 44 × 44 pt tap-target guideline across platforms.
Reduce Motion
Parallax, spring animations, and transition effects collapse to cross-fades when Reduce Motion is enabled in the OS.
Plain Language
Interface copy is written at roughly an eighth-grade reading level, with concrete nouns and verbs. Every jargon term (taper, washout, reconstitute) is glossed on first use.
Progressive Disclosure
Advanced fields (half-life, lot number, custom cycle rules) are hidden behind an explicit "Advanced" toggle so the first-run experience stays short.

Website accessibility
This marketing site targets WCAG 2.2 AA:
- Semantic HTML5 landmarks (
nav, main, footer, section). - All images have descriptive
altattributes; decorative images use emptyalt="". - Keyboard-navigable: every interactive control reachable via Tab and operable with Enter or Space.
- Visible focus outlines on links and buttons.
- Respects
prefers-reduced-motionandprefers-color-scheme. - Minimum 4.5:1 text contrast on body copy, 3:1 on large type.
- Responsive layout from 320px up, with logical reading order at every breakpoint.
- No auto-playing media, no flashing content, no time-based interactions.
Known gaps
Honest about what we are still working on:
- The peptide-library filter chips on /peptides/ do not yet announce filter counts via ARIA live region on every platform. Fix planned for the next release.
- Some older peptide-detail pages still use abbreviated labels for research chemicals (e.g. "CJC-1295 no-DAC"). Screen readers pronounce the dash as "minus". A pronunciation hint is on the roadmap.
- We do not yet offer in-app captions or audio descriptions because the app ships no pre-recorded media. If we add video content in future, captions will ship with it.
Feedback and requests
If something on this site, in the Pepture app, or in our store listings is not accessible to you, please tell us. Accessibility bugs get prioritised the same way as any other defect report. Include the device, OS version, and the assistive technology you were using.
